On Tuesday (November 12), Bergdorf Goodman and Dior celebrated their partnership for the Dior Cruise 2020 Collection, welcoming Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri and special guests to Bergdorf Goodman’s Fifth Avenue flagship for a private cocktail event.
Bergdorf Goodman is the first retailer in the U.S. to offer the cruise collection’s camouflage collection.
The partnership sees the iconic New York retailer launching a new Dior handbag shop on the main floor, two Dior-dedicated windows on Fifth Avenue, a Baobab Christmas tree installation in the main floor luxury room, installations on the second floor’s shoe salon and hallway, and escalators covered in Dior’s camouflage print and logo.
Eiza Gonzalez: The Mexican beauty dazzled in opulent bronze and navy separates. I sense some would have preferred it without the saddle bum bug. Angling it slightly more to the side would have succeeded in breaking up the print without distracting from it.
Ella Hunt: The spiced orange accents in her cream ensemble provided autumnal flavour in a unique way. The colour prevented the pale tones from washing her out.
Kat Graham: The actress showed leg and added some fun to a crisp button-down shirtdress. She’s playing into the borrowed-the-shirt-from-the-boys, morning-after feeling with her sheer tights and black heels.
Rosa Salazar: The ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ actress was also in head-to-toe pattern. There is such a story happening with the print and she was smart to not go too loud with her finishing touches.
