Tessa Thompson was part of the big unveiling of Marvel’s Phase Four lineup at Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ where she confirmed that her character Valkyrie will become the first LGBTQ superhero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At the panel she said, “First of all, as new King [of Asgard], she needs to find her queen, so that will be her first order of business.”
Chris Hemsworth: I’m not sure if my opinion on this look is related to the current heatwave we are experiencing in London, but I wish this Etro look had been worn sans blazer and tie.
Tessa Thompson: The actress wore a Gucci Fall 2019 look which despite its beaded embroidered fringe details and crystal snake head appliqués, was totally upstaged by the Gucci silver and gold platform shoes.
Taika Waititi: The film maker was bringing plenty of Hawaiian flavour to this event with his colourful shirt.
Natalie Portman: The actress was in Dior Resort 2020 once again, this time wearing black embroidered tulle dress which happens to be the most playful look she’s worn in quite some time. If she’s going to insist on sticking to black, I hope she picks look with this same bubbly energy.
‘Westworld III’ Panel: Later in the day, Tessa joined the ‘Westworld III’ panel where she switched up her look wearing a Loewe white cut sleeve coat and cotton lace dress with pearls from the Resort 2020 collection.
It feels so simple, yet there are minor details intricately woven into the look which prevents this from feeling basic.
The look was perfectly tune with the house’s modern romantic design codes, which Tessa presents effortlessly with Stuart Weitzman shoes.
