Natalie Portman: Miss Dior Exhibition In Shanghai

Natalie Portman: Miss Dior Exhibition In Shanghai

The House of Dior debuted its new ‘Miss Dior: Love ‘N’ Roses’ exhibition held at the MOCA—Museum of Contemporary Art—in Shanghai, China on Wednesday (July 17), for a private preview for their VIP guests, which included brand ambassador and newly selected actress playing ‘Thor’ in the Marvel franchise, Natalie Portman.

Natalie wore a look from Christian Dior’s Resort 2020 collection.

We all know that Natalie can play things safe in mostly dark colours, but on this occasion, the black embroidered jumpsuit and skirt was brought to life with stunning embroidered detailing.

The look does veer more towards a fall-like feel for me, but it feels more expressive than her usual looks, which immediately enticed me, but I am wondering how the look would’ve fared without the skirt.

 Dior Joaillerie completed her look.

She looks nice but I’m not convinced about the hairstyle.

I like the embroidery and boho feel to it. The hairstyle doesn’t match the feel though.

The details on the dress are exquisite, but the silhouette is unflattering on both Natalie and the model.

I would have changed the hairstyle. This is a fun look for Natalie, but it looks more like a Valentino than a Dior to me.

Yup I actually thought when I saw the picture “quite a nice Valentino dress”

      Yeah, that’s true.

WElcome Back FC, you looked amazing on your holiday – well deserved 🙂

Will you be covering Elie Saab’s son’s 3 day wedding that happened on the weekend?

It was incredible! If not, would love to hear your thoughts on the bride’s dresses.

The hairstyle is awful and the dress is worse. It’s heavy and looks like a sack on her body.

better hair would have elevated the dress and overall look. pretty but just feels like a missed opportunity

So ugly. It looks homemade from the 70’s.

I preferred the sheerness of the models top- Natalie’s look a little heavy.

The embroidery is probably exquisite up close but overall I’m a bit by this.

She looks great. You’d want the dress in your wardrobe, wouldn’t you? ?

I wouldn’t mind at all, this is a fun look from her.
