Jena Malone In Valentino – ‘Love & Mercy’ LA Premiere

Jena Malone joined Elizabeth Banks at the premiere of ‘Love & Mercy’ at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday (June 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

Inspired by the highly decorative nature of an intricately beaded, lace-embellished Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 design, the actress put fresh new meaning into her modified dress.

The more conservative, solemn drama of the original lookbook gown received a lighthearted, youthful facelift in this pleated, short-sleeve frock, which was styled with a glittery clutch and complementary Brian Atwood pumps.

I do wonder if her former flame-red locks would have added another layer of depth to this look, as I haven’t quite warmed to the blonde hair mixed with that oxblood lip.
