Solange Knowles In Giles – 2015 Met Gala

Solange Knowles attended the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Walking on the darker side, the songstress wore a Giles Fall 2015 design that breaks from more traditional Chinese styling. I would have never initially envisioned it for the evening.

Yet there is something about this sculpted, fan-shaped frock and its mind-bending, holographic print that is impactfully alluring—if only for its mod weirdness.

That said, it almost leaves me questioning, why not wear the even more extravagant cape at the back, too?
