Freida Pinto In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Desert Dancer’ New York Screening

Freida Pinto was back on the red carpet for the special screening of ‘Desert Dancer’ at the Museum of Modern Art, on Tuesday (April 7) in New York City.

The Indian beauty continues her love affair with all things Elie Saab, this time wearing a stunning lavender piece from the Spring 2014 Couture collection.

Say what you will about the style of dress or the designer, I’m blown away by how Freida upholds girlish charm in this luxurious piece.

I love how the voluminous silhouette is balanced by the feather light lace sleeves and bodice with the floral appliqués, adding that signature touch of Elie Saab magic.

The taupe pumps allow the dress to shine, while the Anya Hindmarch ‘Duke’ clutch, inspired by the 18th century, enhances the sophistication.
