Jennifer Lopez attended the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (April 12) in Beverly Hills, California.
After a parade of twee, micro mini dresses on American Idol, the diva wore a look from her favourite designer: Zuhair Murad.
The long-sleeve sheer black dress featuring a cobalt-blue beaded branch pattern from the designer’s Fall 2013 Couture collection was lined unlike the version which took to the runway.
The sheer trend has revealed more panties on the red carpet than we care for, so I’m sure this addition to the dress has been welcomed by most.
She kept her accessories to a minimum opting to leave her hair loose around her shoulders when an updo would’ve created the most picture-perfect finish.

I think she should try out a new designer…Elie Saab perhaps? Even though it’s kinda safe for her. But she’d look like a dream in one of his gorgeous gowns…if they have embellishments of course!
The dress would have been much better with a black underlay. The nude makes it look cheap compared to the runway version.

No one wears a ZM like JLO. But I am actually not sure I love the thick lining. The panties showing would have been too much as well though. And I do wish her hair & makeup had been different.
Hair and makeup are awful.
Oh My Gosh. Look at the close up pic of her makeup! They put her in the longest, tackiest fake lashes and her lipstick is literally drawn outside of her mouth! Her makeup person needs to be fired ASAP!!!
Not liking the dress but the makeup is the worst. She desperately needs to hire a new makeup artist because the current one is constantly making her look 10, 15 years older than she is. I can’t remember seeing her with a good makeup on any of her recent outings.
I totally agree on the makeup–that close up is just scary.
+1 scary is the right word
I am getting sick of the sheer skirt trend as well. Thank goodness Jennifer had the sense to add a lining.
I don’t like this look.
I love JLo but this look is giving me sartorial insomnia because it’s so tired. The silhouette, the nude illusion, the embroidered crystal overlay…it all feels so “been there, done that…30 times.”
It looks better on the runway. Not liking this on her
