Saoirse Ronan Lets the Tailoring Do the Talking

After a busy week on the BFI London Film Festival red carpet, things are beginning to wind down ahead of Sunday’s closing ceremony. However, there was one notable appearance this evening, as Saoirse Ronan attended the I See Myself Shorts Programme.

This perhaps wasn’t the occasion for a major fashion statement, but for me, Saoirse made one anyway in Louis Vuitton.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about tailoring this good. The sharp shoulders, beautifully fitted waist and wide-leg trousers create a sleek and sophisticated silhouette. The satin lapels and single gold button provide just enough contrast, allowing the cut of the suit to do most of the work.

Her Le Damier de Louis Vuitton fine jewellery ear cuff and earrings in yellow gold and diamonds were the finishing touches.

Sometimes, impeccable tailoring is all the statement you need.
