Menswear Roundup: From Classic Tailoring to Glam Rock
Here is a final look at this week’s menswear.

‘Visionquest’ Rome Premiere
Ruaridh Mollica presented a familiar Thom Browne aesthetic, upgraded with embellishments that dissolve from a windowpane check into trailing lines across the jacket and trousers. I like how the loosened tie takes some of the formality out of the look, while the black lace-up boots give the tailoring a slightly tougher edge.

Paul Bettany took a different approach in a camel double-breasted suit with a black roll-neck and brown shoes. The broad lapels and generously cut trousers give this a welcome ’70s flavour. For me, the appeal lies in the proportions and that warm colour combination. Saying I would have preferred a brown roll-neck to match the shoes feels greedy, because this is as close to perfect as it gets.

‘Black Church Bay’ London Film Festival Premiere
Following his previous Givenchy outing, which saw him pair tailoring with jeans, Joe Locke returned to Givenchy by Sarah Burton in a more classic combination from the Spring 2027 collection, styled with a black leather Gentlemen belt and tuxedo derbies. A Tiffany Knot necklace in white gold with diamonds, neatly tucked beneath his collar, completed the look.

InStyle Imagemaker Awards
Tyriq Withers wore Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, pairing a chocolate-brown double-breasted jacket with black trousers. Going shirtless wasn’t the first thing that caught my eye. It was how the brown was deep enough in tone to sit comfortably alongside the black trousers.

Costa D’Angelo was also in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, although you would have instantly recognised this look, as we have seen the designer’s take on stripes many times before.

‘You Are the Reason’ Tour
Sombr wore custom Valentino by Alessandro Michele for his Los Angeles performance, embracing the designer’s taste for theatrical stagewear.
We have seen those gold-fringed shoulders on Colman Domingo, while the broad gold waistband appeared in the Fall 2026 collection. Here, they give the tailoring a glam-rock flourish. With layered necklaces against his bare chest and flared trousers extending the silhouette, this was made for the stage. The sunglasses seal the deal.
