Amy Adams Goes From Grey Tailoring to Sculptural Eveningwear
Amy Adams joined her co-star Jenna Ortega for both the photocall and premiere of their new film, Klara and the Sun, during the 2026 BFI London Film Festival. But unlike Jenna, who appeared to be taking inspiration from the film’s title with her sunny fashion choices, Amy wasn’t chasing the sun.

Photocall
In fact, it was quite the opposite, as Amy opted for a grey CO gathered jersey bodysuit and tailored pencil skirt.
Grey is having a moment, I am will admit that I can appreciate the appeal of this look. The draping gives the otherwise corporate-inspired outfit a softer feel, and the burgundy Giuseppe Zanotti High Desire pumps were a welcome addition of colour.

Premiere
The glamour was back for the premiere where she wore a Georges Chakra Fall 2026 Couture black column gown could have been another predictable red carpet choice, but the sculptural ivory neckline changes everything. Its sweeping, folded construction gives the dress a dramatic focal point, while the contrast between black and ivory feels particularly striking.
I also love that Amy opted for an updo, allowing the neckline to be fully appreciated. After the rather subdued photocall appearance, this felt like a welcome return to the kind of red carpet glamour I enjoy seeing from her.
