This Is the Megan Thee Stallion Fashion Moment I’ve Been Waiting For

Megan Thee Stallion attended the 2026 InStyle Imagemaker Awards in LA on Thursday, delivering the kind of fashion moment I’ve been waiting to see from her.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Megan’s body-conscious red carpet style, mainly because I’ve always felt it limited her. I’ve long believed she could offer so much more, especially when someone like Cardi B consistently gives us exciting, adventurous fashion moments.

So you can imagine my excitement when Megan arrived wearing this Robert Wun Fall 2026 Couture look.

Finally, we’re seeing Megan have a real fashion moment. And what I love most is that she hasn’t had to sacrifice her signature confidence to do it. The exaggerated shoulders, sharply tailored bodice and dramatic fishtail skirt create an extraordinary silhouette, yet Megan looks entirely at home in it, despite how much is going on with the design. And as someone who isn’t particularly fond of grey, the fact that I love every layer of this look says a lot. This is the kind of fashion risk I’ve always wanted her to take.

Carrying the wolf-inspired headpiece rather than wearing it was a much more elegant choice, allowing us to appreciate both the design and Megan herself without obscuring her face. Her swept-back hair and dramatic winged eyeliner were exactly what this moment needed.

This could be the beginning of a very interesting fashion chapter for Megan on the red carpet.
