Katie Holmes’ Fforme Dress Feels Made for the Hamptons

Katie Holmes and her boyfriend, Jason Bard Yarmosky, attended the 2026 Guild Hall Summer Gala in East Hampton on Friday.

The actress wore a Fforme Fall 2026 layered silk-cotton organza dress, which immediately felt like a natural fit for her style.

Fforme’s relaxed approach to tailoring and its focus on shape and fabric align well with Katie’s style ethos. She often favours looks with an unfussy quality, so this column silhouette, with its raw-edged detailing and tactile finish, feels right at home in her wardrobe.

Between the soft ivory colour, subtle texture and fringed finish, this was particularly well suited to a summer evening in the Hamptons.

The snakeskin pumps were an interesting choice, and I appreciate that she didn’t default to matching ivory footwear.

The bag, however, is where she loses me. I don’t like the pale pink colour or the style with this dress. Even with the minimal glam and the relatively relaxed nature of the event, the bag still feels too casual alongside the dress. Do you agree?
