Celebrities at the 2026 BAFTA Television Awards
The 2026 BAFTA TV Awards took place on Sunday, with the big story of the night being the dominance of Netflix’s Adolescence, which swept four major awards and became the most-awarded programme at a single BAFTA TV ceremony.
Risky Business
Erin Doherty, of Adolescence, who usually opts for Louis Vuitton for major events, wore a custom 16Arlington strapless gown. It is almost impossible to appreciate anything about this ruched drop-waist dress, because all I could think about was how low it sat and how much it looked like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. It looks as though Erin is holding the sides of the dress for dear life too, hoping that no one stepped on the skirt. Cartier jewels completed her look.

Prada Perfection
Marisa Abela fared much better in Prada, and every few outings we are reminded just how good Prada’s red carpet gowns can look when they are crease-free, are not pink with a train, and when the hemline meets the carpet at the perfect length. I’m so enamoured by the silhouette and the fit. A Henry & Henry necklace completed her look.
Missing The Magic
I remember when I first started covering Aimee Lou Wood, I was so enamoured by her ’60s-inspired style. And while I’m all for celebrities evolving on the red carpet, this current period just isn’t landing for me. I don’t think this Valentino Fall 2007 buckle-accented strapless gown does anything for her. I’d love to see her bring that playful charisma back to the red carpet in any form she sees fit.
Prints On Parade
It wasn’t all black gowns on this red carpet, as Chase Sui Wonders brought both colour and print wearing a Tory Burch Fall 2026 gown, which admittedly feels a bit Film Independent Spirit Awards-coded, but I actually love how she shook up this red carpet and gave us something unexpected. Tiffany & Co. jewels completed her look.
Stuck In The Past
When it comes to Rivals star Nafessa Williams, I want to say that the gloves ruined this Khaled Marwan silver look, but I think the whole thing feels incredibly dated. And the fact that my first thought was that this looked like it came straight out of Beyoncé’s House of Deréon archives says it all. Tiffany & Co. jewels completed her look.
Soft Elegance
Narges Rashidi, who won Best Actress for Prisoner 951, wore a pale peach Elie Saab one-shoulder gown with a train. After so many heavy black gowns on this red carpet, the softness of both the colour and silhouette felt refreshing. The draped detail and fluid train gave the look an effortless sense of glamour, while TASAKI jewels added a delicate finishing touch.
Lady In Red
Jessica Gunning, of Baby Reindeer, wore a custom Edeline Lee red floor-sweeping gown featuring the label’s signature ivory buckle belt. Completed Works jewels added the finishing touch.

Green Goddess
Celia Imrie brought her usual regal air to the red carpet wearing a bespoke Caroline Castigliano green off-the-shoulder gown. The sculpted neckline and clean silhouette gave the look a refined elegance. This felt confident, timeless, and beautifully executed. Boodles archive jewels completed her look.

Simple And Effective
Emilia Fox wore a draped emerald-green ME+EM gown which delivered exactly the kind of timeless simplicity that always works on this red carpet. The fluid silhouette and soft sheen gave the look an understated elegance, while the gold hardware detail at the waist added just enough definition.
