‘Backstage Secrets By Russell James’ Book Launch

Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, and Gigi Hadid attended the book launch of ‘Backstage Secrets By Russell James’ on Thursday (May 31) in New York City.

Gigi Hadid: Not really following the expected dress code, the model wore an Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Fall 2018 sleek satin look styled wtih Olgana Paris ‘La troublante’ velvet pumps. I love the sleek offering of the blouse which is hit hard with understated cool vibe of the asymmetrical hemline.

Lais Ribeiro: Serving up her usual brand of smouldering sex appeal, the model wore a red hot Cushine et Ochs signature fitted dress with a fresh, modern take on the asymmetric neckline. What makes this look even more remarkable, is that she’s not wearing a stitch of makeup. You may remember that Dakota Johnson wore the same dress back in February.

Christina Aguilera In 16Arlington – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Before Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato brought the house down with the show-stopping world television debut of Aguilera’s empowering new song ‘Fall In Line’, the singer graced the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Serving up a change in direction, the singer wore a custom 16Arlington dress.

I really wanted to appreciate this pinstriped, off-the-shoulder look, but the whole thing felt too heavy and too overwhelming for Christina.

You can see her trying to hold her own in this piece, but unfortunately it just didn’t work.

Claire Foy In 16Arlington & Gucci – CinemaCon 2018

Claire Foy attended not one, but two, CinemaCon 2018 events recently in Las Vegas, Nevada, first at the ‘Girl in the Spider’s Web’ presentation on Monday (April 23) followed by the ‘First Man’ presentation on Wednesday (April 25).

‘Girl in the Spider’s Web’ CinemaCon Presentation: Black and white generally makes for a striking statement, but what really caught my eye with this 16Arlington ensemble was the glorious swoop of the white tie blouse and the micro-buttons running all the way down the trousers—like the ones you might see on a wedding gown—offering a new twist on elegant formalwear. The cranberry lip was a lovely addition to embolden the look.

‘First Man’ CinemaCon Presentation: While there was certainly a thoroughly demure nature to this ruffled Gucci zipper dress, there was also something of a subtle sexy-secretary vibe emanating from its classic schoolgirl charm.

2018 amfAR Gala New York Red Carpet Roundup

The glamour was at a high at the 2018 amfAR Gala New York on Wednesday (February 7) where lovely ladies joined Lucy Hale, Olivia Culpo and Halsey.

Sara Sampaio: The Portuguese beauty had a princess moment in Armani Privé Spring 2006. The glistening tulle was accented with the embellished straps. You’ll be forgiven for thinking that the Chopard jewels were part of the original look as they coordinate so perfectly.

Joan Smalls: Forgoing the glitzy gown, the model donned a Dolce & Gabbana suit with John Hardy jewels. The stark black piping against the muted brocade fabric creates a dynamic display of contrasts, but I wish she saved this ensemble for another event. Against the high octane dresses, it feels a touch out of place.

Coco Rocha: Projecting slinky glamour, the Canadian model showcased the pockets on her Greta Constantine Pre-Fall 2018 dress. There are details aplenty on the gown so I was thankful she lost the coordinating gloves from the lookbook version.

Kelly Macdonald In 16Arlington – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

While co-star Margot Robbie charmed in summery florals, Kelly Macdonald embraced fall’s more sumptuous fabrics at the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere on Wednesday (September 20) in London.

The Scottish actress’s navy 16Arlington separates had an inky elegance while offering a more tailored take on pyjama dressing.

The frilled peplum is almost lost against the belt and long layers of velvet, but those feathered tufts certainly aren’t. Their shape is like two surrealist winking eyes.

Playing off the velvet, Kelly accessorised with silver pointed-toe high heels.
