Dua Lipa Wore Gucci For The ‘Service95 Book Club’
It has been a whirlwind 2025 for Dua Lipa, fresh off wrapping her Radical Optimism tour in Mexico City. But as one era winds down, another picks up: the Service95 Book Club—her global, curated reading community—hosted an event at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City on Tuesday, and Dua arrived in a look that couldn’t have been further from tour glitter.

The Dua we’re used to leans into sensual glamour, but here she opted for something entirely different: a full Gucci La Famiglia Spring 2026 ensemble from Dema’s debut collection. Head-to-toe monogram, satin bow blouse, A-line skirt, matching boots—the works. It’s the kind of uniformed Gucci styling that instantly says “heritage dressing,” and in the context of a book club, it actually makes sense. This is a literary gathering, not a stage, not a premiere, not a fan meet-and-greet. A dialled-down, slightly academic take fits the mood—even if the GG print does all the talking.
Gwyneth Paltrow wore this exact look first at Dema’s debut presentation, and yes, on Gwyneth a more natural fit with the pussy-bow blouse naturally aligned with her wardrobe rhythm.
On Dua, however, it reads more like character dressing—a deliberate switch-up that sits somewhere between Upper East Side librarian and Gucci traditionalist. Could she have mixed the separates for contrast? Absolutely. Would it have been more exciting in all-black like Juliette Binoche’s Red Sea appearance? No question. But in the context of a bookish, intimate literary event, there’s something unexpectedly charming about Dua playing against her usual persona and trying on a different fashion language for the night.
