Riley Keough Wore Chloé To The ‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Film Festival Premiere
In my festival preview, I was pretty confident Riley Keough would turn up in Chanel for the Jay Kelly Venice Film Festival premiere. Instead, she surprised me by stepping into another French house—Chloé—and honestly, it made perfect sense.

Riley wore a taffeta copper cropped ruffled top with a soft beige skirt exuding the kind of breezy, undone glamour that feels much more her than the black-and-white Chanel tweeds we’re used to seeing her in. Chloé has always carried that free-spirited, bohemian energy, and Riley embodies that ethos so naturally that the pairing feels so right.
Was it the strongest look of the night? No. The styling tripped up a little thanks to the black Manolo Blahnik heels, which felt heavy against such an ethereal palette. Still, after a string of Chanel appearances, this change of pace felt refreshing.
What I love most about this look is the Cartier necklace, which carried the kind of star power that pulls a red carpet outfit together.
For me, I will always miss the Alessandro Michele-era Gucci days—those free-spirited, unrestrained fashion moments that really let her shine. And while this wasn’t peak Riley, I’d take this version of her over another tweed suit any day.
