Greta Gerwig Wore Rodarte To The ‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig is having quite the Venice Film Festival moment, stepping out to support her husband Noah Baumbach at the Jay Kelly premiere — where she also makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in the film.

For the occasion, Greta turned to Rodarte, a house that’s practically synonymous with ethereal-meets-gothic fantasy. Her custom tulle gown ticked both boxes: dreamy layers of soft volume paired with moody undertones. The tonal floral embroidery and delicate crystal accents worked wonders in keeping the design from veering into “just another black dress” territory, proving once again why the Mulleavy sisters understand balance so well.

Against the frothy textures she accessories with the Pomellato Catene necklace and ring, with Jimmy Choo’s Heloise platforms completing the look.
