Jamie Chung made a memorable impression at the Unforgettable: The 22nd Annual Asian American Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday.

While hosts Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Stephanie Hsu kept the evening lively, Jamie ensured all eyes were on her in a dazzling Oscar de la Renta Resort 2025 dress.

The dress was nothing short of spectacular. The dramatic fringes, cascading down the simple silhouette, created a symphony of movement with every step Jamie took. It’s one of those rare features that makes a dress come alive, turning a static design into a performance piece.

What truly set this look apart, however, was the mesmerizing palette of colours. The hues began with a serene blue reminiscent of a summer sky, before blending into vibrant green grass and sunny daffodils. From there, the colours transformed into a sweet pink candy floss tone before culminating in a deep, rich maroon. The transitions between the colours were seamless, making the dress a true work of art.

I loved everything about this look—until I got to the bag. The embellished accessory didn’t quite feel cohesive with the dress’s ethereal, painterly quality. It was a small distraction from what was otherwise a flawless outing.

Nonetheless, this was an exceptional moment for Jamie. The dress, the colours, the movement—it all worked together to create a breathtaking vision. This look will undoubtedly be remembered as one of her best.
