Aishwarya Rai Wore Sophie Couture To The ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
Aishwarya Rai made her first appearance of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on the red carpet for the ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ premiere.
Much like her opening look from last year, I’m totally disappointed by this Sophie Couture hooded gown.
I used to look forward to Aishwarya Rai at this festival, mostly because it was the one time of year we would see her on the red carpet, and she would always deliver a moment.
Her Michael Cinco Couture gowns will remain my favourite red carpet looks of all time.
My main issue with this look is that I don’t find it at all flattering, but I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt by saying this could just be a bad camera angle.
I always assumed that Aishwarya was tall judging by how statuesque she looked in her 2017 and 2018 Michael Cinco Couture gowns, but this hooded gown does the opposite.
Aside from this being different to the tulle and feather gowns many of us have grown tired of, I don’t like anything about it.
Like last year, I hope her second look is better than the first.
