Tina Kunakey Wore Valentino Haute Couture To The ‘Benedetta’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Tina Kunakey attended the ‘Benedetta’ premiere during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (July 9) France.

I’ve been waiting to be excited about a look.  

And I was wondering if I was going to be able to add anyone to my 2021 BDOTY list from this festival, until I saw the French model walk the red carpet in this Valentino Spring 2020 Haute Couture purple hooded jacket and indigo skirt.

Yes the red bow belt needed tightening to sit in place as it did on the model, but I can overlook this as this outing is so bold, so beautiful, and just what this event needed – something different, yet still elegant and fashionable.

I’m not looking for meat dresses, or a look with an orbit circling the wearer’s head, just something that enables me to deselect groundhog day. 

I did seeing this look being worn by Halima Aden, the first hijab-wearing supermodel, but she quit the fashion industry in November.
