Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Wore Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda To The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returned to the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ on Wednesday (May 18), after missing last year’s ceremony due to the pandemic.

The Bollywood beauty has consistently been the Queen of Cannes, but when I saw her in this Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown, I’m going to need to temporarily revoke her status.

Honestly.  I have been looking at this for 20 minutes straight (potentially longer), trying to muster up some positives, but this is a mess.

Not to the level of Carrie Underwood at the Grammys, but close enough.

Black at Cannes for Aishwarya was heartbreaking enough, but the randomness of the flowers actually made me laugh out loud.

What is this?

It’s not Sharon Stone at the same event last year.

Look at the creases.  The lack of structure to the skirt, the bulkiness. I can’t.

This could’ve worked at the Met Gala depending on the theme, but it’s a no from me.

My heart is broken.  Hopefully she can turn it around with her second look tomorrow.
