Lizzo Wore Giambattista Valli Haute Couture To The 2022 Emmys
‘Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls’ won Outstanding Competition Program during the 2022 Emmys on Monday (September 12) in California.
I was so happy to see the Lizzo I know and love back in fine form at this event wearing a red tulle, show-stopping Giambattista Valli Haute Couture high-low gown.
Granted, this is nothing we haven’t seen before, as you’re unlikely to see a Giambattista Valli presentation without at least one tulle gown grace the runway.
But this has all the fun, playfulness, and energy I wish she had given us at the 2022 MTV VMAs.
I still can’t believe that people really rocked with the black gown which did nothing for her.
I’m glad that with the guidance of celebrity stylist Jason Rembert, they made sure Lizzo’s Emmys debut was a memorable one.
No one puts baby in a trash bag.
