Carey Mulligan Wore Dior Haute Couture To The 2022 Critics’ Choice Awards
It simply wouldn’t be right to highlight the best looks at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards without including Carey Mulligan — who looked positively ethereal on the event’s red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 13).
The actress graced the occasion in a Chrisitian Dior Spring 2022 Haute Couture light grey strapless dress, which was wrapped in a sleek fishnet and tulle fabric.
The sophisticated gown was embroidered with staggered rows of gradient silver tulle and crystal bead ribbons, which provided some much-appreciated texture (and sparkle).
Understated jewels, minimalistic makeup and Carey’s loose, crimped hair topped off the ensemble with a casual elegance.
I might be biased, because I love everything that Carey dons on the red carpet — but this look is such a winner.
Not only does the dress align with the star’s own polished style, but its shifty pattern and free-flowing silhouette also makes this feel timeless.
If I was to nitpick, I do wish that the lining met the hemline.
