Serena Williams In Valentino – Royal Wedding Reception

There was another case of deja vu at the royal wedding reception for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (the Prince and Princess of Sussex) on Saturday (May 19).

Following Serena Williams’ Atelier Versace look, the tennis star changed into a Valentino Fall 2018 gown which Amber Heard had worn nine days earlier at Cannes Film Festival.

The difference is: the bodice.

This should delight the majority of you who has a huge grievance with the fit of Amber’s bodice.

While I didn’t mind Amber’s look, there is no denying it’s much improved with the square neck velvet bodice.

Serena Williams In Atelier Versace – Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding

Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian attended the royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle today (May 19) in Windsor, England.

If you’re surprised this dress an Atelier Versace, you must be forgetting that the brand is also known for balancing sophistication with sensuality.

I love how this Versace dress flatters her figure, but the statement necklace was a bit jarring.

A fanciful fascinator completed her look, along with hamstring length braids.

Serena Williams In Tom Ford – ‘Being Serena’ New York Premiere

Serena Williams was serving up some high-glam style when she hit the red carpet at the New York premiere of ‘Being Serena’, an upcoming documentary about her pregnancy, marriage and tennis comeback, that debuts on HBO next month.

The tennis star wore a Tom Ford Spring 2018 slinky ruched dress, which would’ve been simpler without the mirrored sleeves, but simple isn’t Serena’s forte.

I have to say this is easily one of Serena’s best red carpet looks. She’s managed to refine her brand of glamour without it coming off as some House of Dereon special.

Serena had a beautiful fairytale, princess moment wearing a strapless ball gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, which featured a sheer sparkly cape which was a long as her train.

Alexis wore a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure midnight blue velvet jacket suit for the ceremony, as did his groomsmen.

2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many modes of so-called glamour were represented at the 2017 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York. Here’s a look at some of the other femmes in attendance.

Sailor Brinkley: Simple seduction was precisely what this ZAC Zac Posen Resort 2018 sequin slip gown was all about—with Sailor’s romantic ringlets to follow form.

Yolanda Hadid: For Yolanda, an LBD meant a long black dress in this Akris gown that smartly hinted at seduction in the keyhole detail and side slit.

Sofia Coppola: Fresh and snappy, this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 floral frock brought a boldly printed twist to Sofia’s comfortable, no-nonsense style.

Burberry Celebrates The Launch Of The DK88 Bag

Burberry-wearing beauties came out in force to celebrate the launch of the Burberry DK88 Bag, hosted by Christopher Bailey, at Burberry Soho on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.

Ruby Rose: I always look forward to seeing what Ruby has to offer on the red carpet, and her dynamic style took another cool-girl turn with this Burberry ensemble. It was like fashion’s very own Oreo cookie, with the crisp precision of black, menswear-inspired tailoring enveloped by the rich creaminess of a dramatic ivory cape. I love the metallic finish the handbag brought to the look, too.

Ellie Goulding: Laden with rich, textural embellishment, this patterned Burberry frock was only in need of a sleeker updo.

Serena Williams: Serena continued her tip-top pregnancy style with a vamped-up, lacy Burberry wrap dress in which she defined her burgeoning bump with a snakeskin belt.
