Elle Fanning Wore The Row, Vivienne Westwood, Oscar de la Renta & Commission Promoting ‘The Great’
Much like Halle Berry and Lady Gaga, Elle Fanning has been busy promoting her latest project, which is season two of ‘The Great.’
As this TV series is set in the 17th century, I was not surprised to see two corseted looks showcased during this press tour.
The first is a Vivienne Westwood pink corset paired with a classic clean line suit from The Row.
Elle and Vivienne Westwood have had a fruitful relationship.
The looks which will always stand out to me include her 2014 pink Late Show with David Letterman dress, the 2014 red dress worn to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet, the 2017 gown worn to the ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival premiere and the most recent liquid satin dress she wore to the 2021 Independent Spirit Awards.
The intriguing part for me when it comes to this look is the suiting, as it forms part of this new era of style we are witnessing from Elle.

When it comes to her second look from The Row, I’m fascinated at how the boned-waist trousers give her an appearance of a tiny waist. Which once again feels themed to her TV series.
I love the playful touch she brought to this look via her broken egg’s sandals from Loewe’s Spring 2022 collection.
For her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Elle’s love for the colour pink was showcased via this stunning Oscar de la Renta ‘Begonia’ dress from the Spring 2022 collection.
The dress is beautiful in motion as the raffia trim sways with every step.
Opting not to take her styling cues from the lookbook, Elle opted for gold accessories to complete this look.
Elle wore a pale yellow Commission Spring 2022 reversed ruffle dress with Mach & Mach double bow glitter mules for her arrival at the Jimmy Kimmel studios.
This look shows us that Elle’s love for pastel hues and dainty dresses hasn’t totally disappeared from her promo tour wardrobe.
