Menswear Midweek Roundup

Here is a look at some of the menswear red carpet looks from this week so far.

We had to start with John Legend who joined a host of ladies at the LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF event on Saturday, where he performed with Katy Perry.

He was looking very dapper wearing a Dsquared2 suit.  You’ll be happy to see that he opted not to wear socks with his patent leather loafers.

The most intriguing feature for me was the sequin trim, as I’m wondering why it didn’t span the entire outline of the blazer.

Ryan Reynolds continued his love affair with all things Brunello Cucinelli.

He has had some major looks with the Italian brand in the past, so some might feel a bit disappointed by this tan corduroy suit, but smart-casual is usually his preferred choice, even when on the red carpet with his wife Blake Lively.

What she wears on the red carpet has never really dictates his style choices.

And after all, this was his premiere so he could wear what he wanted, even though I wasn’t initially crazy about the checked shirt until I spotted the matching pocket square.

Joe Keery joined Sadie Sink, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on the red carpet for the ‘Free Guy’ New York premiere.

And sadly, his Saint Laurent Fall 2021 look was the most uneventful.  I was really underwhelmed considering he usually gives us a lot more style-wise.

British actor Orlando Bloom was wearing a distinctly Italian look, that at first glance feels heedless, yet artfully put together.
