2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards Red Carpet Menswear Roundup
2021 has been a revelation when it comes to red carpet menswear. To say men ruled awards season (Leslie Odom Jr. specifically) is an understatement.
The bar has been set really high. Now the rest have to keep up as we now know what is possible, and we want more.
Chase Stokes got the memo as he hit the red carpet wearing this flame red Fendi Fall 2021 suit.
Sheer dresses have been a thing for a long timeâŠtoo long some might sayâŠso what do you think about this sheer top?Â
I was not surprised to see the actor take a risk like this when I learned that he shares the same stylist as Leslie Odom Jr. and Nick Jonas (Avo Yermagyan).
Chase was the only one to step out in a bold colour, and I love this effort, even though I wish he had worn smarter shoes, but this was the MTV Movie Awards, and not the Oscars.
Sneakers were the footwear de jour at this event, as they were also sported by Henry Golding courtesy of Diorâs B23 sneakers.
The new dad who is known to rock a stylish suit, took a more casual approach in this Dior Men Fall 2021 look which I love for the shiny blue technical silk jacket.Â
Jonathan Daviss was looking very fly in his AMIRI luxe wool coat. I love the laid back, cool nature of the outfit, but the hiking boots are an abomination.
On this occasion sneakers wouldâve been preferred.
Justin Hartley rocked blue suede shoes, and a blue suede Dolceâ â&â âGabbana jacket for his return to the red carpet.
When it comes to colour coordination. He nailed his look like Chase.
And Rudy Pankow who was looking oh so smooth in all black velvet and silk Saint Laurent.
I know youâre going to think Iâm a hypocrite as heâs wearing all black, but this was my favourite look from the boys. Probably for the choice of fabrics alone.
Anthony Mackie wore a beautiful teal jacket and trouser combo, with colour-block sneakers which didn’t complement his stellar outfit. Â
