It usually takes at gown drenched in sequins to get the hairs on the back of my neck to stand on end, but this picture which Julia Roberts posted to her Instagram is incredibly powerful in so many ways.
The actress captioned the picture, “? VOTE❤️ 15 Days to Go! #weareinthistogether #earlyvoting #challengeaccepted @ritawilson ?”
An important caption, but also one she didn’t need to make, as her Christian Siriano Spring 2021 suit was doing all the talking for her much like Lizzo at the 2020 Billboard Awards, Laura Linney at the 2020 Emmys, and Julianne Moore on Instagram.
I’ve talked a lot about power suiting, but this is a power suit to end all power suits as the 2020 presidential election approaches.
Some people see fashion as frivolous, but in this case, it doesn’t matter what the vehicle is to get you to vote, so long as you do.
It’s a political print with a purpose.
