Thandie Newton In Alaïa – BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Thandie Newton In Alaïa - AFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It’s clear that cut-outs were the theme of Thandie Newton’s Golden Globes weekend.

Prior to her dazzling Michael Kors Collection moment, the actress wore an Alaïa Spring 2019 look to The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California.

I love the edge her structured leather bustier gives this look; which stays on the right side of sexy.

Thandie is never one to hit the red carpet without some kind of standout feature. It’s usually her shoes, but on this occasion it was a Silvia Furmanovich clutch.

Princess Eugenie Of York’s Royal Wedding

Princess Eugenie Of York's Wedding

There were many more guests who joined Cara Delevingne, Poppy Delevingne and Naomi Campbell in Windsor, England today (October 12) for the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York and Mr. Jack Brooksbank .

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge: I was delighted to see such a vibrant raspberry hue from the Duchess, and I was also left in awe by the tailoring of this Alexander McQueen piece. The silhouette is nothing we haven’t seen before, but I’m just grateful it’s not beige. Going matchy once again, a veiled headpiece by Philip Treacy and velvet heels by Jimmy Choo completed her look.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex: This beautiful Azzedine Alaia had a fabulous fit and flare silhouette with the signature trims. I’m not usually a fan of Sophie’s style, so this a rare win for her. The royal topped the look off with a Jane Taylor hat.

Princess Beatrice: While I do like this custom ink blue Ralph & Russo Couture design, the turban didn’t work for me. Am I alone in believing it ages the Princess taking her from sister-of-the-bride to mother-of-the-bride? Ralph & Russo accessories completed her look.

‘This Is Us’ Season 3 Premiere

'This Is Us' Season 3 Premiere

The cast of ‘This Is Us’ showed their style credentials at the season 3 premiere on Tuesday (September 25) in Hollywood, California.

Mandy Moore: After flirting with black and white, she was back to colour in Alaia. It seems she has been pushing beyond her comfort zone and the regal medieval air of the maxi gown is indicative of that. Harry Kotlar, Maxior and Le Vian jewels didn’t overpower the design.

Justin Hartley: The actor looked dapper in Canali. Breaking up the suit provided a modern finish that was enhanced with the black shoes and turtleneck. Grey wasn’t an obvious colour in the jacket, but the trousers feel at home in the look.

Melanie Liburd: The British actress shimmered in a vintage dress, Judith Leiber clutch bag and Stella Luna ‘Indispensable’ pumps. Some might say it’s too much of a good thing. The classic proportions of the frock prevent it from veering into the ridiculous.

Bulgari Spring 2019 Accessories Collection Dinner Party

Bulgari Spring 2019 Accessories Collection Dinner Party

Bulgari hosted a dinner party during Milan Fashion Week to celebrate their Spring 2019 collection with a dinner party on Friday (September 21) in Italy.

Bella Hadid: You look at this Vivienne Westwood Couture dress and swoon at how beautiful it is, along with her Bulgari jewels. Then you pan to the leg and wonder what possessed her. The dress sells itself dag nam it.

Laura Harrier: On the opposite end of the spectrum, Laura kept her look simple in Azzedine Alaïa, so the Bulgari jewels and clutch were the center of attention, as they should be. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes completed her look.

Nieves Alvarez: Proving that sheerness can be both elegant and sexy Nieves looked sensation in Elie Saab, styling her look with Bulgari’s jewels and accessories plus Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Nudist’ sandals.

‘Her Smell’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'Her Smell' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

The premiere for ‘Her Smell’ took place during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday (September 9) in Canada.

Cara Delevingne: While this Balmain Fall 2018 dress does fit the models edgy persona, I very much feel like I would’ve liked to have seen something different from her. This look almost feels too obvious. Casadei over-the-knee boots completed the look.

Amber Heard: After this weekend events you may never want to see another bias-cut dress again, but the texture of this dress from The Row sets it apart from the others, and that vixen red lip intensifies the sultry mood.

Gayle Rankin: Simone Rocha tends to present delicate chiffon floral dress, but this Fall 2018 look took on a new direction. While the praying hand print scarf-like inserts feel a bit random, they do add an edge to the look, which Gayle herself is channeling with her stance.
