Lizzo Wore Christian Siriano To The 2020 Billboard Music Awards
Lizzo delivered a simple, yet important political message at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday (October 14): VOTE.
It’s not uncommon for celebrities use a spotlight such as an award shows to speak on social issues they care about, and this occasion was no exception.
The singer posted this image to her Instagram before making her way to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
She looked incredible in her black custom Christian Siriano dress emblazon with the word ‘Vote,’ which she teamed with a high ponytail, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a clutch that simply said, ‘Lizzo.’
I’m kinda surprised that Lizzo didn’t opt for both the matching hat and mask.
Lizzo didn’t go home empty handed, as she took home the Top Song Sales Artist award.
If you follow Christian Siriano on Instagram you’ll know that Julianne Moore has worn the runway version of this dress which the designer captioned, “Voting can still be a #fashionstatement.”
So she did wear the hat 😀
