Scarlett Johansson Embraces Understated Bombshell Glamour

After Scarlett Johansson’s appearance at the Ray Gunn premiere, we needed a fashion comeback for her second red carpet appearance at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival on Saturday evening. And boy, did she deliver at the Paper Tiger premiere, where she was joined by co-star Adam Driver.

Keeping the red theme going from earlier in the evening, Scarlett proved that two dresses in the same colour can have completely different outcomes.

The actress, who has a longstanding relationship with Prada, having starred in several of the house’s campaigns, wore a custom red silk georgette bias-cut gown with ruched detailing that left me almost speechless.

This is the kind of glamour I love seeing from Scarlett. The beautifully fluid silhouette and vibrant red create something incredibly alluring without relying on a plunging neckline, thigh-high slit or figure-hugging construction.

I wouldn’t quite call it full va-va-voom, but there’s certainly plenty of va-va. Perhaps understated bombshell is the better description, although there’s nothing understated about how fabulous she looks.

Her softly curled blonde bob, swept to one side, adds a touch of Old Hollywood glamour, while the statement Barron London necklace takes the entire look up another level.

This is Scarlett Johansson at her absolute best, and I’m adding this look straight to her extensive red carpet Hall of Fame.
