Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte - 2020 Golden Globe Awards

For her first potential Golden Globe win, Kristen Dunst glowed with her signature pastel look on the red carpet for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills.

The actress may always be a synonym for Marie Antoinette for her iconic role playing the queen, and true to character, she often wears soft fabrics and colors on the carpet. Tonight was no different as she wore a custom pastel pink Rodarte gown.

On one hand, there is a lot going on with the dress—lace ruffles and Swarovski crystal embellishments in the shape of stars.

But on the other hand, the amount of fabric isn’t overwhelming. The curve hugging bodice is ultra-flattering as it expands under the hip, and the high neckline has a touch of allure with extra transparency on the chest. To me, this is the modern and mature version of a princess dress.

Kristen is nominated for her lead role in ‘Becoming a God in Central Florida.’ Her character Krystal Stubbs is known for bringing back ’90s country style. I say Kristen deserves an award for her style transformation between the camera and carpet alone.
