Kim Kardashian’s New Take On The Canadian Tuxedo For The WSJ. Magazine 2019 Innovator Awards

Kim Kardashian attended WSJ. magazine’s annual Innovator Awards held at the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York City, with husband Kanye West on Wednesday (November 6), where the couple presented Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci with the 2019 Fashion Innovator award.

At first I thought Kim was wearing leather chaps, but Burberry have confirmed that she is actually wearing indigo blue leather lace-up ankle boots.

It’s the custom indigo blue leather trousers with raw denim detail that give the appearance of chaps. 

Quite a clever design, which was always going to make headlines.

A Kim Kardashian look wouldn’t be a Kim Kardashian look without some waist cinching property, so the look was complete with a  puff sleeve corset top.

I kinda have to say I ain’t mad at this.

Riccardo clearly knows what works for his client and her persona.

Both Kanye and Riccardo wore custom Burberry looks too.
