Iman Was Ruffled At The Franca Sozzani Award Event

Iman attended the third Franca Sozzani Award held at the Belmond Cipriani Hotel on Tuesday (August 27) in Venice, Italy.

I’m going to start off by saying that purple is Iman’s colour.

Her 2007 Lanvin, 2012 Prabal Gurung, and especially her  2017 Christian Siriano dresses are testaments to that fact, but I struggled to love this look from Valentino’s Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection.

From some angles I was ready to love this, but there are just too many ruffles, and I’m no a fan of the fabric.

Iman carries the look off with plenty of grace – most would get lost in this look – but it’s still a reluctant no from me.
