Jess Weixler’s Tuxedo Inspired Look For The ‘It Chapter Two’ LA Premiere

Jess Weixler joined Bill Skarsgård and Jessica Chastain for the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘It Chapter Two’ held at Regency Village Theatre on Monday (August 26) in Westwood, California.

Having given birth to baby Beatrice back in March, the actress was looking better than ever wearing a Self-Portrait blazer wrap dress from the Fall 2019 collection, which appears to have looked to the classic tuxedo for inspiration.

The dress has a lot going on with the satin lapels, wrap silhouette, pleats and stripes, but that makes this an all the more fun and interesting look.

Self-Portrait are known for their floral and lace dresses, so this instantly felt modern and refreshing from the brand.

The loose tailoring was teamed with one of the tiniest bags I have ever seen courtesy of Gelareh Mizrahi, with a touch of colour and feminine flare added via her Sophia Webster sandals.

    Very interesting look!
Her make-up is also so pretty

I really like the dress. I wonder if it would look more put together with black sandals/shoes. I get the contrast but with the wrap and the pleats I suspect black sandals/shoes would look smarter.

I love this. Such an interesting take on the tuxedo dress and so very flattering. The shoes are a lovely touch.

I love this though I wish she’d worn the model’s shoes which I covet.

Interesting but I don’t think I like that panel of pleats. It seems odd.

nope. I dont like the split personality of this dress. its too incoherent. I find it just sloppy design.

The pleating was a nice feature. I’m wondering what she could fit in a apart from a lipstick and a card.
