On Tuesday (June 25), royals and celebrities turned out for the annual Serpentine Summer Party hosted by Chanel.
Ellie Bamber: The Chanel ambassador has worn a Chanel look or twelve, but on this occasion I couldn’t get onboard with the fit of this Fall 2019 two -piece.
Jenna Coleman: Is the British actress going back to her experimental phase, or did she just fancy wearing a breezy lace Chanel jumpsuit on a balmy evening? I do like this look, but I don’t understand the miss-match underwear.
Clemence Poesy: The French actress returned to the red carpet wearing a Chanel Resort 2020 tiered dress. This look is living embodiment of insouciant French charm, right down to the no makeup, makeup. I love how the flamingo print was complemented by a pink Chanel clutch.
Jourdan Dunn: Like any true Brit, Jourdan Dunn was prepared for the rain in her PVC Chanel Resort 2019 dress.
Lara Stone: In terms of being the quintessential Chanel girl, Lara Stone totally nailed her look. I much prefer her black sheer skirt over the white piece we saw on the Pre-Fall 2019 runway.
Leomie Anderson: The model was smoldering wearing a Faith Connexion Fall 2019 sheer lace cut out gown. I know sheer dresses aren’t favoured by the majority, but this is one needs to be celebrated.
Cressida Bonas: This Tory Burch printed maxi dress was perhaps the most summery frock at this event.
Ellie Goulding: I’m not always the biggest fan of Ellie’s style, but her simple elegance in black Chanel won me over.
Adwoa Aboah: I love how the embellishments on her Jimmy Choo ‘Shiloh’ sandals, complemented the trompe l’oeil detailing on her Chanel dress.
Suki Waterhouse: The mood always has a ’60s feel when it comes to Suki’s red carpet look. Everything from her Miu Miu Automne 2019 bow accented dress to her platforms speak to this. This is one of my favourite looks from Suki in a while.
Arizona Muse: The model let her on trend neon-pink Violante Nessi suit take center stage.
Felicity Jones: The embellishments on this Chanel Spring 2019 deep-plunge dress keeps me interested.
Charli XCX: The British singer once told Vogue Australia that she loves how Vivienne Westwood’s clothes have the ability to turn people into punk stars. On this occasion the designers inspiration came from the Far East. This embroidered gown was one of my favourites from this event.
Maya Jama: The TV presenter opted to show a little leg wearing an Alexis Mabille tie-detailed button down gown from the Fall 2018 collection.
Stacy Martin: The actress, who stood alongside the designer of her Erdem Fall 2019 dress, may not have gone for a summery option, but her look was one of the stand out pieces on this red carpet.Sabrina Dhowre Elba: The newlywed looked radiant wearing a Roland Mouret Silvabella gathered silk-blend lamé gown.
