Lupita Nyong’o In Muted Colours Is Still Striking On ‘The View’

Despite the huge success of Lupita Nyong’o new film, ‘Us’, the actress was still busy promoting on ‘The View’ on Thursday (March 28) in New York City.

Last week she was presenting spring colours, but on this occasion her look had more of an autumnal, transitional feel, yet it was still joyous in its presentation.

What particularly caught my eye was her Dorothee Schumacher  panel pleated skirt that combines a cool patchwork look with an exciting mix of materials.

I’m convinced this piece was basecamp for the look.

Those of your looking for office inspiration will love how such a tricky piece was co-ordinated perfectly with an orange cardigan and green Mansur Gavriel wool cashmere oversized coat.

I’ve never looked to Lupita for footwear, but her recent run of shoes from Malone Souliers have made me do a 180.
