Lupita Nyong’o In Carolina Herrera – 2018 ACE Awards

Lupita Nyong’o attended the Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards on Monday (June 11), where she presented her stylist Micaela Erlanger with the Style Influencer Award.

Looking as beautiful as a ray of sunshine on the first day of Spring, the ‘Black Panther’ star wore a Carolina Herrera Resort 2019 marigold tulle dress featuring animal embroidery to match her animal and flower charm earrings.

Lupita never does things by halves. Red carpet dressing has always been a platform for her to be creative, so I wasn’t surprised by the new hairstyle and sequin eye makeup.

As this was the Accessories Awards, Lupita finished off her look in fine form with a Judith Leiber Couture Hilo Pineapple crystal clutch bag.

Lupita was radiant from head-to-her-pedicure.

Lupita Nyong’o In Atelier Versace – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

Lupita Nyong’o can always be relied upon to leave us in awe, and that’s what she did at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, where she presented Donatella Versace with the International Designer Award.

In this Atelier Versace Spring 2018 dress the ‘Black Panther’ actress was truly celebrating fashion.

Her structured, cage mini-dress with bubble hemline, encrusted with delicate beading and Swarovski crystal elements was like no other look to grace this red carpet.

Like Blake Lively, Lupita always dresses for the event and goes that extra mile.

I love how the drama was amped up with the coordinating Atelier Versace neckpiece and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, with Versace sandal rounding out the look.

Lupita Nyong’o In Dolce & Gabbana – Sirius XM Studios

After sweeping us off our feet at Cannes, Lupita Nyong’o recently swung by the SiriusXM Studios on Tuesday (May 15) to promote ‘Black Panther’ on DVD.

I love this Dolce & Gabbana embroidered frock on her. It’s the very picture of spring with the kicky, pleated skirt offering a nod to feminine flirtation.

The dress was such a delightful, fresh entrance, I probably would have gone for a citrusy orange sandal.

The black clutch and hot-pink pumps looked like they belonged to another look.

Lupita Nyong’o In Prada – Chopard Secret Night

Lupita Nyong’o was not to be missed on the red carpet of Chopard’s Secret Night during Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 12), where she joined Marion Cotillard and Julianne Moore.

The ‘Black Panther’ star blew everyone away – literally – with her Prada shimmering peach organza chemise ball gown styled with Chopard jewels.

From the elegant design to the way she twirled with glee, it took me right back to her epic 2014 Oscar moment.

On this occasion, the eye makeup didn’t quite work for me, but I was charmed nonetheless.

Lupita Nyong’o In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following her photocall for ‘355’, Lupita Nyong’o was back on the red carpet for the ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 10).

Dressed in Christian Dior Spring 2018 Haute Couture, I love how she playfully paid homage to her fictional homeland with the ‘Wakanda Forever’ salute.

I have moaned about the lack of colour – this is why I fell in love with her style after all so don’t judge to harshly – but this white Couture gown featuring a cage skirt embroidered with ivory organza leaves was breath-taking.

Intricate, yet wonderfully serene, this will find a place in my top 10 looks for Lupita.

‘355’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

After first seeing a photoshoot with Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Fan Bingbing on Elizabeth Stewart’s instagram, I thought the ladies were promoting a beauty line or jewelry, as they were all decked out in black.

Turns out the ladies are actually promoting their spy thriller ‘355’ during Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 10).

Can our hearts take two mega Girl Power promo tours this year (the other being Ocean’s 8)?

It can, and it will.

Penelope Cruz: Despite the famous Devil Wears Prada quote, I’m all in when it comes to florals for spring and summer, especially when it breaks up the mostly-black run the Spanish actress has opted for during this festival. Her Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2018 maxi was such a refreshing choice.

Marion Cotillard: The edgier side to Marion came out to play again today in this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 LBD styled with Chanel cuffs. The Nicholas Kirkwood Casati over-the-knee biker boots drag this look down a bit. I would’ve loved a open-toe bootie.

Jessica Chastain: Elegance personified, the actress always looks right at home during Cannes Film Festival. The best part of her Wolk Morais look is the gorgeous draped detail at the back. Jimmy Choo ‘Hourly’ sandals completed her look.

Lupita Nyong’o: Fresh of her successful promo tour for ‘Black Panther’ the actress was wearing all black donning a Miu Miu collection dress. Styled with Lace up ankle booties and Fendi shades, I do love this look, but I’m missing Lupita in bold colours. APM Monaco’s Mono silver moon earrings completed her look.

Fan Bingbing: I was worried that we wouldn’t see the Asian actress at the festival this year as she’s no longer and L’Oreal or Chopard ambassador. What would Cannes be without Fan Bingbing? Decked out in all white Osman Spring 2018, the white shirt might aim to bring balance to this look, but it’s all about the feather skirt. I’m living for this daytime drama. The shoes? Hmmm.
