Get The Look: Rita Ora’s Ultra-Glamorous Glossy Grammys Look

Much like her stunning $3.6 million Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Rita Ora was shining bright like a diamond at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Her elegant and glamorous Ralph & Russo Couture gown was highlighted by a stunning makeup look that made a statement on its own.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Kathy Jeung created a look which emphasized radiance while providing drama. Here’s how she achieved this winning look:

SKIN: After the skin was cleansed and well moisturized, Kathy applied Rimmel London Lasting Finish Breathable Primer. While prepping the skin, this light veil created a smooth base for foundation application.

FACE: Prior to foundation, Kathy color corrected any redness or discoloration on Rita’s skin using the Rimmel London Insta Conceal & Correct palette. She then followed up by applying a blend of Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25HR Foundation in 303 True Nude and Rimmel London Good to Glow Highlighter in 003 Soho Glow for a flawless radiant base. Blending a foundation with liquid highlighter lightens the formula of the foundation while adding a luxurious yet subtle sheen once applied. For added brightness under the eyes, Kathy used Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer in 335 Light/Medium.

For understated color, Kathy used the versatile Rimmel London Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in 001 Golden Sands, using the darker tan shade for a subtle contour along her cheeks and the pink shade for blush. The soft look was framed with the highlighter shade, buffing the iridescent shade from the palette along the high points of Rita’s face. To enhance that luxe shine and give the skin a multi-dimensional radiant glow, Kathy concentrated Rimmel London Insta Duo Contour Stick right onto her cheekbones, following upwards towards the eyes for a dramatic shine. A light dusting of Rimmel London Insta Fix & Matte Translucent Pressed Powder was applied and was on hand for touch ups throughout the evening.

EYES: To create that ultra-cool glossy eye look, Kathy started with Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Blush Edition Eye Shadow Palette which served as a primer for the gloss. The upper lash line was defined using Rimmel London Scandal’Eyes Precision Micro Eyeliner in Black. For an eye opening effect, she lined the lower lash line with Rimmel London Scandal’Eyes Eyeshadow Stick in 001 Witness White. Rita’s full lashes were dressed in a few coats of Rimmel London Shake It Fresh Mascara. Finally to create that glossy finish, Kathy applied Rimmel London Oh My Gloss! in Clear straight to the lids, using the applicator, she gently tapped the product onto the lids without disrupting the shadow. This chic and runway-inspired look was framed with perfectly groomed brows which Kathy defined using Rimmel London Brow This Way Brow Pomade Fix & Fill in 002 Medium.

LIPS: Kathy chose a glamorous plum lip color to finish off the look and opted for matte finish to contrast the stunning glossy and radiant aspects of the makeup. She used Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour in 810 Plum This Show which features a slighted tapered tip that allows for precise and fool-proof application.
