Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier – 2014 Met Gala

Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier - 2014 Met Gala

Rita Ora couldn’t be missed on the red carpet of the 2014 Met Gala, hosted on Monday (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Rocking a romantic rendition of her signature sexy, loud style, the songstress swooped in wearing a Donna Karan Atelier antiqued matte gold and sequined silk tulle gown with a long frothy train.

Lest all that tulle get in the way of her requisite skin-bearing ways, a hip-high slit parted the sea of fabric, allowing her strappy pumps, which wrapped all the way up and over the knee, to lead the charge.

The bondage-inspired shoes also paved the way for the Donna Karan Atelier matching armband, while Lorraine Schwartz jewels, including a barrage of rings, added even more shine to the look.

She perhaps found inspiration in last year’s punk theme for her half-shaven, swept-back platinum ’do.

While this is a softer, more delicate confection, there was no shortage of sultry edge once placed within Rita’s grasp.
