Entertainment Weekly Hosts Its Annual Comic-Con Party

Along with Candice Patton, Dania Ramirez, and Tessa Thompson, there were many more starlets in attendance to celebrate as Entertainment Weekly hosted Its annual Comic-Con 2017 party on Saturday (July 22) in San Diego, California.

Willa Holland: Silky, satiny materials can be a challenge to wear on the red carpet, and some of those issues with creasing and sheen were seen in this Giorgio Armani suit. Willa styled the silvery, tuxedo-inspired look with Beladora jewels and a sexy pair of Malone Souliers ‘Robyn’ pumps.

Nathalie Emmanuel: With a strong, black-and-white graphic punch, Nathalie would not be missed in this Etro Spring 2017 wrap dress that she styled with a multi-colour belt for added impact.

Phoebe Tonkin: I actually loved seeing this Gucci Fall 2017 studded, leather mini stripped of its over-the-top runway styling. What remained was a precious, girly floral frock with plenty of edge, too.

Danai Gurira In Marco de Vincenzo – Comic-Con 2017: Marvel Studios ‘Black Panther’ Presentation

Danai Gurira joined Lupita Nyong’o for the Marvel Studios ‘Black Panther’ presentation during San Diego Comic-Con 2017 on Saturday (July 22).

Donning a Marco de Vincenzo Fall 2017 dress, she played to the plucky charm of the design that fused a vintage-sophisticated silhouette with cheeky, artsy illustration.

What you cannot see here is the geometric design shaven into her hairstyle, only reinforcing the quirky, eccentric vibes of the frock.

Dania Ramirez In Polite & Sandro – Comic-Con 2017: ‘Once Upon A Time’ Press Line & Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party

Two days, two dresses for Dania Ramirez at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego, where she attended the ‘Once Upon A Time’ panel on Saturday (July 22) before heading to the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party to join Tessa Thompson later that day.

‘Once Upon A Time’ Press Line: I adore the whimsical flirtation of this feminine Polite Spring 2017 corset frock enlivened by its polka dots and abstracted camo print. With the big, bold patterning, it had a nearly cartoonish-inspired chicness that was simply made for Comic-Con. Metallic Loriblu sandals added just the right glint to wrap up the look.

Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party: While this Sandro lace dress was a perfectly suitable LBD, it wasn’t all that exciting—especially not after her fun first look. So, I’m glad she upped the ante with her red mini handbag, Racine Caree lace-up heels, and a loose ponytail.

Millie Bobby Brown In Victoria Victoria Beckham & Kate Spade New York – Comic-Con 2017: Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ Press line

Also at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego, Millie Bobby Brown attended Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ press conference on Saturday (July 22).

Darling-chic is what the young starlet has been doing best, and this Victoria Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2016 frock styled with a Kate Spade New York sleeveless, white blouse fit the bill.

I love the girly silhouette of the dress coupled with the charm of its cheeky, mod patterning, which she echoed in her block-heel sandals.

Lighthearted and appropriate. Would you agree?

Candice Patton In Vladimiro Gioia & Concepto – Comic-Con 2017: ‘The Flash’ Press Line & Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party

If you looked up Comic-Con style in the dictionary, you’d find Candice Patton in these two intrepid, dynamic entrances that didn’t play it safe. She was at ‘The Flash’ press line on Saturday (July 22) before joining Dania Ramirez and Tessa Thompson for the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party in San Diego later that day.

‘The Flash’ Press Line: With no hesitation towards the bold, daring print of this Vladimiro Gioia Spring 2017 suit, Candice provided a flash of her own fashion inspiration. Styled with white Loriblu sandals, the ensemble might have translated as dated or derivative on a separate occasion, but she fit right in at Comic-Con—literally and figuratively.

Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party: With another colour-forward look, she was in a more monochromatic mood wearing this tangerine Concepto Spring 2017 ‘Maise’ mini that maximized its use of buckles for a retro-mod effect.
