‘Westworld’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

The cast of ‘Westworld’ continue to make the rounds. They attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere on Thursday (April 19) in New York City.

Evan Rachel Wood: Falling for the charms of tailored separates once again, the actress was outfitted in Mugler. The bright white jacket against the deep black top and pants has such sharpness from the contrasting shades, but it’s the smaller touches that elevate it from simple tuxedo dressing. The statement shoulders mimic the pointed toes and the embellishment on the collar echoes the buckles on the shoes.

Thandie Newton: Also opting for separates, the English actress was outfitted in a Schiaparelli suit which has such sumptuousness from the silky fabric and cranberry colour. The touches of gold and the lack of shirt enhance the sultry, glamorous mood.

Sydney Sweeney In Carolina Herrera – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere

Sydney Sweeney joined Alexis Bledel and Elisabeth Moss at the premiere of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California.

Delivering colour and drama, the actress graced the red carpet in a Carolina Herrera Spring 2018 gown.

With its dramatic layers of contrasting tulle and the drop waist, I was concerned that the style would overwhelm her petite figure, but it didn’t.

She kept her accessories understated to allow the jubilant mood of the dress to take center stage.

Ellise Chappell In Theory – British Academy Television Awards Nominees’ Party

Ellise Chappell was back on the red carpet for the TV BAFTA nominees’ party held at the Mondrian London on Thursday (April 19).

The ‘Poldark’ actress wore a lava-red Theory suit which appears to have been influenced by Savile Row tailoring.

It’s beautifully cut in a long, lean shape, sharpened by structured shoulders and notch lapels.

The sophistication extended to her accessories which included black Louboutin pumps and a deeper red Arran Frances bag.

Alexis Bledel In J. Mendel – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere

Alexis Bledel joined Elisabeth Moss for the premiere of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California.

Like Jennifer Nettles, Alexis opted for a burnt velvet look from J. Mendel’s Fall 2018 collection.

The actress is known for her love for girlie frocks in fresh colours, so this darker mood is a huge change of direction, but one that I found just as successful as Jennifer’s outing.

Would I wear this dress in summer? No, but I love the end result thanks to the sleek styling which included Nicholas Kirkwood Lola Pearl sandals and a complementary clutch.

Meghan Markle In Black Halo’s Popular Jackie O Dress

Meghan Markle, who’s making women’s empowerment her passion cause as a soon-to-be royal family member, attended the Women’s Empowerment reception hosted by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on Thursday (April 19) in London, England.

Those of you who have been around since the beginning of RCFA will immediately recoginse Meghan’s Black Halo Jackie O dress, which came in every colour imaginable.

The Jackie O was worn Tyra Banks, Scarlett Johansson, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Ripa, Blake Lively, Paris Hilton and many other celebrities around 2007 – 2012. It was worn so much that Jezebel named it, “The Dress That Won’t Die”.

Proving how popular this LBD continues to be, with its subtle-yet-flattering details: a draped asymmetrical neckline, knee length, and belted at the waist, the dress still looks as classic now, as it did back then.

Meghan styled her look with Aquazzura pumps, and carried a Gucci black velvet mini Dionysus clutch.
