Storm Reid Wore Prada & Christopher Kane To The ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards

As the red carpet host for the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards, Storm Reid wore two looks for the event.

The first was a Prada gold nappa leather gown which was simply styled with Mateo earrings.

I love the sleek silhouette, but my first reaction to this is that I wish that she either wore platforms, or the dress was an inch or two shorter.

The party really began when she donned this Christopher Kane Spring 2021 peplum dress.

As I said in Jane Levy’s post yesterday, the artistic splatter paint is the signature of this collection, and as you can see from this look, no two prints are the same.

Of the two, this look is my favourite, for the bold print, vibrant colours, and youthful energy.

Factor in the colour coordinated mint green Paris Texas croc-effect boots, and I’m in lust with this second outing.
