Pink In Stella McCartney – The Fashion Awards 2017

Pink was among the style set at The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

After donning a frothy tiered gown at the 2017 American Music Awards, the singer was back in her edgy-with-a-feminine-twist element.

Those who were unconvinced about her voluminous silhouette will hopefully support this Stella McCartney Resort 2018 ensemble.

She lit up the red carpet with a black column dress decorated with glistening landscape embellishment.

I’m sure she could have pulled off the original blue version or the black without the jacket, but I do love how the contrasting bomber draped over her shoulders created a distinct look.

Olga Kurylenko In Temperley London – The Fashion Awards 2017

Olga Kurylenko stepped out at The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London, England.

The actress and model proved black doesn’t have to be basic in a Temperley London Spring 2018 dress.

The volume of the semi-sheer skirt was tempered with the slinky bodice which brings to mind pieces of ribbon expertly wrapped around her.

I like the concept of the top, but found it could have been strengthened with different proportions.

For me, the crystal detailing didn’t enliven the bodice. Had the embellishment been in black, it might have been more successful.

Annabelle Wallis In Stella McCartney – The Fashion Awards 2017

Following the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, Annabelle Wallis was back on the red carpet for The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

You can’t help but be entranced by shape, colour and design of this Stella McCartney Spring 2018 dress which marries fashion forward sensibilities, with sensual femininity.

So I found myself a bit disappointed that Annabelle opted to temper the silhouette with waist tie.

We all know Annabelle does glamour like no other, so it would’ve interesting to see her try something new.

Thoughts?

Alexa Chung In ALEXACHUNG – The Fashion Awards 2017

Alexa Chung is the one person you were guaranteed to see at The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

The presenter/designer wore a look from her own ALEXACHUNG label, which had all the prim and proper delicacies you would expect; contrasted with quirky footwear.

Alexa’s Fall 2017 presentation was called ‘Prom Gone Wrong’, so I guess that was the idea behind this contrast of styles.

I’m not a fan of the Roger Vivier pointy green satin boots with crystal detailing, but I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of Alexa’s footwear selections, so like Fan Bingbing, I will chose to ignore them, as I do adore the dress.

Rita Ora In Versace – The Fashion Awards 2017

Rita Ora stunned at The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

The singer wore a vintage Versace dress which I believe is from the 1980s, as that’s when Gianni Versace’s love for oroton metal mesh began.

I love how the lace brings a sensuality to the strong metal and how the colour is radiant against her skin.

Do you love Rita’s ode to the heroine of the 80s?

Ruth Wilson In Erdem – The Fashion Awards 2017

Ruth Wilson attended The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

The actress has never been a fashion follower, so I admire her for not going down the big gown route, however, I didn’t find this Erdem Spring 2018 look flattering.

We all know Ruth likes to take risks, and I usually applaud them in any form, but this is a no from me – especially with those shoes.
