Old Hollywood glamour dominated the 2022 SAG Awards in a big way — and Elle Fanning managed to breathe new life into the trend on Sunday, as she strutted the event’s red carpet in Los Angeles.

The actress, who was nominated for her her role in ‘The Great,’ suited up for the occasion in a chic Gucci ensemble that felt like something straight out of the 1940s — paired with a champagne blouse, electric bow tie and vest combo, and shimmering pinstripe trousers that gave her look a fun, glitzy touch.

The style was also topped off with delicate Cartier jewels for added elegance.

Elle’s sophisticated yet atypical outfit is unexpected — but it’s also exactly what you’d expect (or at least hope for) from someone with as an inimitable of a fashion sense as the young actress.

Even in a sea of floor-length gowns, the star’s suited ensemble reigned supreme.
