Elle Fanning Wore Proenza Schouler To SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’

Elle Fanning attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations presentation for Margo’s Got Money Troubles at The Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress wore a Proenza Schouler Fall 2026 wool jacket and skirt ensemble that admittedly skews more October-November than June, yet I found myself charmed by it nonetheless because it feels so indicative of Elle’s style language.

There is something appealing about the simplicity of the silhouette. The curved seaming running through the skirt and the neat proportions of the cropped jacket ensured that the look never felt flat or overly plain. The contrasting dark collar also gave the ensemble just enough definition.

I was less convinced by the blocky pumps, however. The chunky shape felt slightly heavy. Even so, the overall look felt unmistakably Elle, and there is something to be said for knowing exactly who you are sartorially.
