Chase Infiniti Wore Oude Waag On The Daily Show

Fresh off her Gotham Television Awards win for The Testaments, Chase Infiniti made a guest appearance on The Daily Show on Wednesday in New York City.

While Monday night saw the actress embracing a softer, bubblegum-pink palette, this outing marked a dramatic shift in mood, with rich plum tones signalling a move towards a more autumnal aesthetic.

There is no denying how striking this Oude Waag Fall 2026 look is. The colour story is beautiful, the draping is intricate, and the silhouette carries a strong sense of drama. Yet, for me, this simply doesn’t land.

I can put the seasonal appeal of those gorgeous deep berry shades to one side, because my main issue lies with the proportions. The cropped jacket feels overwhelming on her frame, while the draped skirt feels so heavy. Individually, the elements are interesting, but together they compete for attention rather than creating any balance.

What has made Chase’s recent style run so successful is how naturally she inhabits the clothes. Here, it feels as though the look is wearing her instead.

This might be the first Chase look that I just can’t get on board with.
