Kylie Minogue In Moschino - Cannes

Kylie Minogue was spotted disembarking a yacht, as one does in Cannes, earlier this week wearing an all-white look sans sunglasses.

The Australian singer/actress wore a cute Moschino Spring 2013 patchwork broderie anglaise dress with faux pockets and a pointy collar.

This must have been taken on one of the rare days it wasn’t raining in Cannes.

White ankle-strap sandals and a white chain-accented bag completed her look.

Beauty-wise, she opted for a clear lip gloss and a simple bun.

If someone else in Kylie’s age group had worn this dress we may have accused them of working a twee look; however, Kylie is so petite and damn cute she gets away with it.

Marion Cotillard In Alexander McQueen - ‘The Immigrant’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Marion Cotillard was back out during Cannes Film Festival, this time promoting another movie, ‘The Immigrant’, with a photocall at the Palais des Festivals in France this morning.

The French actress wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress on this occasion.

Her ivory panelled velvet-and-macramé mini dress with 3D flower-embroidered details was styled with gold diamante Christian Louboutin pumps.

I love that she wore her hair up; wearing it down would’ve competed with the embroidery on her shoulders.

Last time out, some of you preferred her photocall look to her premiere look. I wonder if that will be the same again tonight.

Anyone want to take a bet against her wearing Dior tonight?

amfar men 2

There were many lovely ladies at the amfAR’s 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS yesterday evening. Here is a look at the men.

Adrien Brody: The actor wore a Roberto Cavalli tuxedo. I love everything about this look. Looking very debonair, Adrien donned a white tuxedo jacket with a black satin shawl collar, styled with shiny black pants and a unique white-and-black shirt, topped off with Cavalli loafers. Even those of you who don’t love shiny suits can’t help but admire this amazing suit.

Andres Velencoso: The Spanish model, aka Kylie Minogue’s boyfriend, also opted for a Cavalli suit. This classic look, with a black satin shawl collar and bow tie, was styled with patent-leather shoes.

Jeremy Renner: The actor looked very handsome wearing a one-button Lanvin tuxedo with black satin peak lapels, a white cotton dress shirt, a black satin bow tie, a white cotton pocket square, and black patent-leather lace-up dress shoes.

Zachary Quinto: The ‘Star Trek’ actor wore a black Giorgio Armani tuxedo. The classic look featured a black satin shawl collar – the menswear trend of the night – and a satin trim along his trousers.

Even though I love all four looks for being so well tailored and fitted, Adrien’s unique take totally wins me over.

Cannes Best of Day 9

Today’s best dressed in association with shoescribe.com for Day 9 of Cannes Film Festival are Nicole Kidman in Valentino Couture and Adele Exarchopoulos in Balmain.

Nicole inspired this Rene Caovilla lace ankle boot selection. The high boot resembles Nicole’s high neckline and the lace details are just as beautiful as those on her couture gown.

For Adele, I was inspired to select these Dsquared² ankle boots. They have a lot of interesting details: they are sharp, unique and have an edge to them.

Kerry Bishe In Escada - 'Max Rose' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Kerry Bishe attended the ‘Max Rose’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals on Thursday evening.

The actress looked effortlessly chic wearing an Escada gown with a beautiful floral lace motif.

We have seen a lot of OTT jewels during this festival over the last nine days, however, Kerry opted to walk the red carpet sans jewels. Her gorgeous dress was statement enough.
