Lais Ribeiro In Cushnie et Ochs – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

I’m not sure how, but I missed Lais Ribeiro at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards. And the model was wearing my favourite colour as well.

Lais is swiftly becoming one of my favourite models to grace the red carpet. She had a flawless run at Cannes, voted highly on the best dressed poll last week, and here again she looks radiant in Cushnie et Ochs’ Resort 2019 dress.

Featuring the brands signatures, the chic styling – which included Cushnie et Ochs ‘Felix’ silver sandals – takes this look onto another level.

Who Was Your Best Dressed At The CFDA Fashion Awards?

Models @ 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

In our final sweep of the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet, we focus on some of the models in attendance.

Martha Hunt: As far as unique looks goes, Martha’s Thom Browne Fall 2018 caged bustier dress was on par with Lupita Nyongo’s. In terms of creativity and styling, this was one of my favourites of the night. Atelier Swarovski earrings completed her look.

Gigi Hadid: Looking like a work of art in Versace Fall 2018, the model stunned in a colourful graphic brushstroke print top and leggings giving off a catsuit-like effect. I know many of you aren’t fans of Gigi’s style, but I”m sure you’ll love that she opted for something a lot less predictable on this occasion.

Kendall Jenner: Speaking of predictable, there was something about this feathered Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture look that felt very déjà vu; like she’s worn something similar before.

2018 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, joining Cate Blanchett, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson and many more.

Nina Dobrev: I really wanted more from Nina. More colour, more magic, more wow and something unexpected. I feel like we’ve seen this Zac Posen dress a thousand times.

Whoopi Goldberg: Do not adjust your sets, this is Whoopi wearing a hot pink in Christian Siriano Spring 2018 suit with a matching hat that wouldn’t look out of place at the Kentucky Derby. Even if you don’t like the fit or the comfortable shoes, at least this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Katherine Langford In Prabal Gurung – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

Katherine Langford joined Prabal Gurung on the red carpet for the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

Her Prabal Gurung Asian inspired tie-front black suit from the Fall 2018 collection was one of the more successful suiting looks on this red carpet.

I love how the with white revers and red cuffs bring statement appeal to the look, so I’m glad she didn’t opt to go with red or white accessories which allowed the suit to be the center piece.

TASAKI jewels completed her look.

Amandla Stenberg In Rosie Assoulin – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

Amandla Stenberg was channelling her inner Austin Powers at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

I love the bold blue hue of this Rosie Assoulin Fall 2018 flared suit that was accompanied by a trippy print blouse to seal the ’60s vibe, but the look appeared to overwhelm her petite frame.

Perhaps opening up the jacket would have made this feel a lot less like she’d been swallowed by the cookie monster.

Ciara In Monse – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

Ciara accompanied shoe designer Paul Andrew to the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

Monse are the masters of modern pieces that are bold and feminine, but this deconstructed tuxedo dress with a shirt-tail hem didn’t work for me.

I’m not sure if it’s the pose, the dress – despite being intriguing and unique in its design – or the boobage, but I failed to get on board with this look.
