Anna Kendrick In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Drinking Buddies’ London Film Festival Premiere

Anna Kendrick In Alberta Ferretti - 'Drinking Buddies' London Film Festival Premiere

Anna Kendrick attended a screening of ‘Drinking Buddies’ held during the 57th BFI London Film Festival at the Odeon West End in London this evening.

The actress wore a floral Alberta Ferretti Spring 2014 two-piece featuring a crop top with chiffon overlay and an A-line skirt with a tri-colour metallic waist band.

My first reaction was, something’s off.

While on the one hand I want to scream “Hallelujah” this isn’t blush, nude or one of Anna’s more expected looks; on the other, the accessories could’ve celebrated the vibrant floral prints a bit more.

I am not on the fence about her makeup, as both are styled beautifully.

Yay or nay?

Good Riddance! What is she wearing?

The back is even more horrifying.

The skirt hitting below the knee ruins it.

The skirt sits too high on her waist or she’s just too high waisted all together. Something. And the shoes are not flirty enough and her makeup is too pink. A more shear face with some fun earrings would have worked better.

I think it is the styling and make up. You cover the dress and she’s a 55 year old woman going to a bat mitzvah. The hair tendrils!! Oy vey!!

I’m on the fence about the whole look. Whilst I dislike the shoes, I think that the rest isn’t that bad. I quite like her hair, makeup and the earings.

I agree, while I feel that it could be better, I really liked this look on the runway, and I feel it’s one of her better outings. I just don’t care for the accessories. Hair and makeup are lovely, though.

A more inspiring shoe instead of the pumps and I’m on board completely. Sweet, vibrant, pretty, I love this look on her.

I don’t see anything wrong with her shoes as they have a red heel and cute heart accent on the back of them. I just wish she paried the skirt with a different top. The top isn’t flattering to me.

    Paired not paried.

I absolutely loved it on the runway and now I am so disappointed to see it on her… It doesn’t fit her well, I don’t like the styling, it’s such a pitty for a such beautiful outfit…
(well maybe I am not very objective cause I don’t like her very much but still…)

I think she just isn’t tall enough for this look. The skirt sits too high and there isn’t enough room for the illusion panel to do it’s thing. And I agree it should be above the knee. Otherwise, she looks gorgeous

This is supposed to be a vibrant and fun look but she seems to weigh down the look. Would love to see this on Diane Kruger though.

Just look at how come that dress is so beautiful on her,it’s a shame that the styling is simply awful.

  13. CD October 21, 2013 at 01:11 #

aaah the styling is fine though, it’s a black based dress

  14. EmmaWoodhouse October 23, 2013 at 14:26 #

NO to crop tops and sheer! If it had a real, no-tricks top this would be an adorable look. I actually like the black accessories.
