Anna Kendrick In David Koma – 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Anna Kendrick In David Koma - 2018 Teen Choice Awards

I’m sure it hasn’t escaped your notice that Anna Kendrick is opting for more sultry looks these days, and that form continued into the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 12) in Inglewood, California.

On this occasion she wore a bubblegum pink and silver number from David Koma’s Resort 2019 collection.

I love how this look added a fresh dose of colour to this red carpet, when so many were opting for autumnal looks.

The slinky fit contributes to a sassy profile, while asymmetric panel detailing finishes the look on a modern note.

Giuseppe Zanotti silver ‘Kaley’ embellished pumps and super sleek tresses completed her look.

Refinery29’s 29Rooms Chicago: Turn It Into Art Opening Party 2018

Refinery29 hosted a ’29Rooms: Turn it Into Art’ event on Wednesday (July 25) in Chicago, Illinois.

Taylor Schilling: The ‘OITNB’ actress opted for a high neck Veronica Beard ‘Nico’ dress styled with Chloe Gosselin ‘Olympe’ mules. I wish the dress was a little more flattering, and shoes were less fussy, as they have a little bit of everything going on here.

Kelly Rowland: The singer’s Alice + Olivia Saba embellished top and Dustin wide leg pants combo was a stunning display of summer time florals. I love chic nod to the pyjama trend that the trousers give, while they’ll lending a contemporary ease to her look.

Emily Ratajkowski: There was a feeling of deja vu when I saw Emily in this Miaou Fall 2018 look. While she is a huge fan of the contemporary brand, the familiarity had more to do with the style of what she wore i.e. boobs and midriff on taking centre stage.

Anna Kendrick In Ralph & Russo – American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney

Anna Kendrick attended the American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney on Thursday (June 7) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a snow white silk asymmetric panel Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 dress, featuring Swarovski crystal embellishments.

It’s an interesting design with the cut-outs and slash skirt, but it’s kinda hard to get over the fact the dress is washing her out.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘G-Heel’ sandals and a Tyler Ellis clutch completed her look.

Anna Kendrick In Balmain, Philosophy di Lorenzo & Giovanni Bedin – ‘A Simple Favor’ CinemaCon Presentation & Big Screen Achievement Awards

Anna Kendrick has been busy at CinemaCon 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. First, she joined Blake Lively at the presentation of ‘A Simple Favor’ on Thursday (April 26) then she was back on the red carpet at The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards.

‘A Simple Favor’ CinemaCon Presentation: Not the typical heavily embellished ensemble from the designer, she wore a Balmain Spring 2018 bodysuit with a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini skirt. Despite being different materials, the pieces merge in a way you could easily think it’s one garment. Jewels by Gismondi 1754 and Dionea Orcini added sparkle. Sunny yellow heels added a merry, although slightly distracting, finish.

The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards: Donning black again, she showed a sexier side in a revealing Giovanni Bedin mini. I foresee this not going down too well. I’m struggling with the proportions. Had it been a longer length with the sheer panels focused on the top, I might have been able to get behind it.

Hunter For Target Ultimate Family Festival

Celebrities got into the festival spirit at the Hunter For Target Ultimate Family Festival on Sunday (March 25) in Pasadena, California. The event feted the forthcoming Hunter x Target collaboration.

Kate Bosworth: Looking cool and casual, the actress topped a logo T-shirt with a beige mac. Instead of the expected tall boots, she opted for a short lace-up style. Aviator sunglasses offered a polished finish.

Anna Kendrick: The ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ star added a pop of colour to her gray sweatshirt dress with a yellow raincoat. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Jessica’ boots dressed up the casual pieces.

Hailee Steinfeld: Embracing an earthy colour palette, the singer and actress was outfitted in a khaki green and white bomber jacket and skinny pants. She brought out the contrasting sleeves with white pumps. Heels might not be traditional festival footwear, but they worked on this occasion.

Anna Kendrick In Rasario – Hilton & American Express Launch Event

Anna Kendrick shone bright at the Hilton & American Express launch event on Tuesday (January 30) in New York City.

The ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ actress was clad in a Rasario Pre-Fall 2017 look which juxtaposed rich black velvet sleeves and a bow detail with a shimmering strapless dress.

The combination offers a striking finish that is sensual yet sweet.

Without the contrasting fabric, it would have been just another sparkly dress.

She sought to heighten the textural play with a holographic mini bag, but it detracted slightly from the opulence of the piece. More successful were her black heels.
